2018年10月26日（金）にオープンしたばかりの「FOCUS KURAMAE」は、カメラの部品工場を一棟改装して造り上げた【宿泊 × 写真】をコンセプトとしたゲストハウス。宿泊時の価格は1泊1950円（税込）でした。
都営浅草線 蔵前駅より徒歩3分、都営大江戸線 蔵前駅から徒歩4分の高立地かつコスパの良い格安宿です。浅草の繁華街から少し離れた落ち着きのある宿で快適に過ごせました。
世界中に旅行をした旅人が集い
それぞれがFOCUSした(=ピントを合わせ、切り取ってきた)
モノ、コトを共有しあうことで次の目的地が見つかり、写真を通じて、世界と、世界中の人が繋がれるような空間にしていきます。

共用ラウンジは落ち着きのある空間
1Fはコーヒーやお酒、食事が楽しめるカフェ&バースタイル。
落ち着いた雰囲気で音楽がいいムードを醸し出しています。壁面にはスタッフやゲストが撮影したアートウォールも展示しています。
店内には植物やインテリアが飾られており、木のぬくもりを感じる温かみのある空間。スペースを広く使ってソファやテーブル席に座りリラックスできる場所になっています。
奥には共用キッチンを完備しており、食器や調理器具などを宿泊者が自由に利用できます。
フロントでチェックインを済ませると部屋番号や暗証番号が書かれたカードを渡されます。
ホテルのチェックアウトは10時まで、カフェ&バーの営業時間は12時～23時（ラストオーダー22時半）までみたいです。カフェメニューはお茶が充実していました。
チェックアウト後の荷物預かりは有料（200円）で対応してくれます。
ベッドルームは少し狭い
ベッドルームまではエレベーターを使って上がります。ドアに付いた鍵に暗証番号を入力すると入れます。
今回予約した部屋は男女混合ドミトリー。
カプセルホテルのようなしっかりとした2段ベッドが4つ設置された部屋です。簡素ですが木目調のオシャレな雰囲気が出ています。
マットレスは寝返りが打てるギリギリのサイズで少々窮屈さを感じました。小柄な女性であれば問題なさそうです。
布団や枕は柔らかくて寝心地は良かったです。カーテンを閉めるだけの簡易宿泊施設のため、物音やいびきなどは聞こえてきます。この日はマナーのいい方が多く静かに眠れました。
ベッド内部にはデスクライトとコンセントが2つ。
スマホなどが置ける小さな棚とセーフティボックスを完備。財布や携帯は入りますがパソコンが入らないのが残念でした。
シャワールームは浴槽付きもあり
シャワー室は各部屋1つのみですが、3Fに浴槽付きのお風呂場がありました。フロントに尋ねたところ3F以外に宿泊している人じゃなくても利用できるそうです。
アメニティは歯ブラシセットのみ。バスタオルは有料レンタル（300円）でした。
水回りも文句なしに清潔です。
お手洗いは各階に3つずつ。ウォシュレットがないタイプなので注意。
コインランドリーは400円～500円で洗濯・乾燥まで行ってくれます。
長期滞在者にとっては有り難い。

東京の蔵前にある格安ドミトリー「FOCUS KURAMAE」をご紹介しました。
浅草寺など有名な観光地からも徒歩圏内の場所にあり、観光の拠点として過ごすには便利な立地でした。サービスとしては必要最小限ですが、落ち着いたおしゃれな雰囲気は居心地が良かったです。
