2019年3月にオープンした和風テイストのゲストハウス「サンチャゴゲストハウス那覇」に1週間宿泊しました。
那覇バスターミナルから徒歩3分、沖縄都市モノレール「旭橋駅」から徒歩5分の場所にある駅チカで、日本人・外国人問わずバックパッカーが集うゲストハウスです。
エレベーターなしで階段のみなことを除けば、スタッフも優しくフレンドリーに接してくれて居心地が良かったです。ベッドルームもこの手のゲストハウスにしてはしっかりした作りで気に入りました。

「サンチャゴゲストハウス那覇」宿泊レポート
ホテル外観は木目が美しく、安っぽさを感じさせない作りになっています。
宿泊料金は、宿泊予約サイトの「agoda」で1週間滞在して5,600円。長期宿泊割引が適用されて1泊あたり800円で宿泊できました。過去に泊まったゲストハウスの中でもかなり安い方です。
チェックインは21時まで
まずは1階のフロントでチェックインを行います。
チェックインは21時まで（以降スタッフ不在）となっていますが、遅れそうな場合は個別で対応していただけるようです。
チェックインを済ませたら、ロッカーの鍵を渡されます。鍵と一緒に付いた名札に、共有スペースとベッドルームに入るための暗証番号が記載されているので、無くすと2,000円の弁償になります。
ホテルのチェックアウトは翌日11時まで。ベッドルームで寝ている人がいたらスタッフに起こされるので、早めに支度しておきましょう。
1F共有スペースは広々と使いやすい
1Fの共有スペースにはキッチンとダイニングテーブル、和室のスペースがあります。
奥にあるテレビではNetflixが自由に鑑賞できます。
キッチンの横にはお手洗いとランドリールームが備わっています。
洗濯機は30分300円、乾燥機は1時間100円で利用できます。
晴れている日はベランダで干してもOK。ハンガーやランドリーハンガーも備え付けがあります。
キッチンには冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、トースター、食器やコップ、調味料やフライパンなど一通り揃っています。
近くにローカルスーパーの「かねひで」や激安の殿堂「ドン・キホーテ」もあり、自分で食材を買って自炊する人もいました。長期滞在で食費を浮かせたい人におすすめ。
お皿や調理器具など、使用したものは自分で洗って元の場所に戻します。冷蔵庫に入れるものはチェックアウト日と名前を書いて保管します。
和室は3部屋。今まで宿泊したゲストハウスよりも広々としていてゆったり過ごせます。テレビがあったり、大きなソファーなど実家のような安心感。
エレベーターがなく階段のみ
ベッドルームまでの上り下りは階段を使います。4階建てでエレベーターがないので、スーツケースを持って移動するには向いていません。
入り口の鍵を開けるとロッカールーム。小さめのショルダーバッグが入るレベルで、バックパックなどは入りません。
幸いにも17インチのLG Gramや一眼レフは入りました。大きな荷物はロッカーや共有スペースに放置するしかなく、貴重品は自分で管理する必要がある点は注意が必要です。
ベッドルームは比較的広め
ベッドルームはカプセルタイプの2段ベッドがずらりと並びます。ベッドルームのドアも静かに閉まるので、寝るときは人の出入りはそこまで気にならなかったです。
ベッドルームの中はこんな感じ。各ベッドは暖簾で目隠しされているのですが、微妙に横方向の長さが足りていないのが気になりました。
高級感のあるマットレスが使われていました。ここに自分でシーツを敷いて使用します。足元や枕元に荷物を置くスペースがあるので、衣類やバックパックなどを置いていました。
受付のスタッフに「寝るときは必ずシーツを使用して下さい」と釘を刺されました。どうやらマットレスを汚すと追加料金が発生するとかなんとか。
枕元にはコンセントが4つ、横にはタオルや帽子などを引っ掛けるフックがあります。照明は暖色系の明るいライトが使われているので、寝る前は少し眩しいと感じます。
他のゲストハウスと違って、ベッドの作りがしっかりしていました。寝返りを打つでもギシギシ音がしないので快適に眠れます。
もちろん防音性は皆無なので、隣のベッドのガサガサとしたビニール音や、寝るときのいびきは部屋中に響きます。利用者同士で気を遣いながら使うのはどこでも同じです。
シャワールームやお手洗いも綺麗
シャワールームやお手洗いは人が居たので公式写真で紹介。
洗面台やお手洗い、シャワールームは各階に2つずつ。男女共有で使用するため、時間帯によっては混雑することもありました。
シャワールームは脱衣場から鍵が掛かります。ハンガーなどを掛けるスペースがないので、脱いだ服は足元のカゴに入れておきます。
使用直後は珪藻土バスマットが濡れているので、時間帯をずらして使用することをおすすめします。
備え付けのリンスインシャンプーとボディーソープは無料で使用可能。可もなく不可もなく普通です。
まとめ
那覇市旭橋にあるゲストハウス「サンチャゴゲストハウス那覇」をレビューしました。
沖縄の安いゲストハウスは治安や清潔感が悪いことが多いので、その中では一番マトモだと思います。ゲストの距離が近すぎず、プライベート空間が十分確保されていると感じました。
コンビニ・スーパーも徒歩圏内で、駅やバス停のアクセスもよく便利でした。バスターミナルの利用を考えている方や朝早いフライトを利用する方におすすめです。
