浅草駅から徒歩6分の場所にある「オークホステル富士」に宿泊しました。男女混合12人スタンダードドミトリーを予約して、宿泊料金は2019年1月時点で平日1,250円、金土1,700円の激安ゲストハウスです。
スカイツリーや浅草周辺も徒歩圏内の激安ゲストハウス「オークホステル富士」
東京メトロ浅草駅4番出口、都営浅草線浅草駅A2a出口より徒歩6分の場所にある「オークホステル富士」は、スカイツリーや浅草周辺も徒歩圏内です。周辺は住宅街なので静かに過ごせます。
中に入ると目に止まるウェルカムボード。
iPadを使ってチェックインを行います。フロントにいた方が日本語NGの方だったので、別のスタッフさんを呼んで対応してもらいました。これ、タブで別のお客様情報が見れると思うのですが大丈夫なのでしょうか…。
フロント営業時間は朝8時～夜11時、チェックアウトは朝8時～11時です。チェックイン前に荷物を預かってもらうことも可能です。
ラウンジやシャワールーム、ランドリーおよび喫煙所は24時間利用できます。
1Fに必要な施設が集まっていて、2Fは女性専用ドミトリーとシャワールーム、3F～5Fは男女混合ドミトリー、5Fのみファミリールーム（個室）がありました。
支払いは各種クレジットカードとQRコード決済の「PayPay」が利用可能。
アメニティはバスタオルと浴衣が200円、フェイスタオルや歯磨き、ひげ剃り、耳栓、洗剤は100円で購入できます。そのほかレンタル自転車は500円/1日（2,000円の保証金）で利用可能です。
1Fのラウンジはソファー席とカウンターテーブル、ファミリーテーブル席があり、海外のお客さんが楽しそうに話してました。利用客は8割くらい外国の方なので日本人は2割くらいでした。
キッチンスペースで自炊をしたり、電子レンジや炊飯器、電気ケトルとポット、冷蔵庫も使用可能。
洗濯はランドリールームから行えます。
洗濯機の利用は無料、乾燥機は1回30分100円です。天気がいい日は外に洗濯物を干すことも可能です。
ドミトリールームは静かで清潔
ドミトリールームまでの移動はエレベーターを使用。
エレベーターから各部屋まで外の廊下を通る必要があり、冬の寒い時期はフロントやシャワールームの行き来が苦痛です。
今回泊まった部屋は4Fの12人男女混合ドミトリー。
玄関が隣の部屋と共用になっているため、靴の置き場所がなく入り口に散乱していました。
玄関にあるスリッパに履き替えて部屋に入ります。
半個室のような空間でプライベートが保てる
2段ベッドは壁で仕切られていて半個室のような空間。
寝心地については良くも悪くもなく普通。若干マットレスが固く感じたものの普通に寝られました。
シーツや枕カバーは自分で取り付けます。
ベッド内にはLEDライトとコンセント、簡易的なテーブルが用意されています。コンセントは2口あるのでPCやスマートフォンも同時に充電できます。
小さめのパソコンがギリギリおけるサイズなので、スマホの充電やちょっとした小物を置くスペースですね。
大きなロッカー付きで荷物が多くても安心
大きい荷物は鍵付きのロッカーの中に入れられます。
大きめのキャリーケースでも余裕で入るビックサイズで助かりました。
お手洗いやシャワールームも清潔で快適
お手洗いもきちんと清掃されていて綺麗でした。ウォシュレット完備で便座も温かい。
洗面台は各部屋の前に2つ。
シャワールームは清潔感があり、髪の毛1本も落ちてなかったです。シャンプーやコンディショナー、ボディソープは無料で使えます。
家庭にあるような湯沸かし器が付いています。
最初入ったときに最大の46度に設定されていたので、熱すぎて速攻で温度下げました。
シャワー室やお手洗いの数も多く、混雑する様子もなく快適に利用できました。
屋上に上がるとスカイツリーが見える！
屋上は朝9時～夜9時まで利用可能。屋上からはスカイツリーが目の前！
椅子とテーブルがあるので夏場はここでお酒を楽しむのも良さそう。
静かな住宅街にあるためそこまで景色が良いものでもないですが、夜はスカイツリーのライトアップが綺麗に見えました。
まとめ
オークホステル富士は、激安ながらモダンアートのような空間で居心地が良かったです。スタッフさんの対応も良く気持ちよく過ごせたのが好印象でした。
浅草やスカイツリー方面から多少歩きますがどちらも徒歩圏内です。近辺で観光を考えている方は、宿泊費の安いドミトリールームがおすすめです。
