横浜観光に向けて川崎で前入りした時に利用した「川崎リバーホテル」が安くて良かったのでご紹介。翌日の観光に付き合ってもらうフォロワーさんと割り勘でセミダブルの部屋へ宿泊しました。ただシャワー浴びて寝るだけでしたが、静かな場所でぐっすり眠れました。

JR川崎駅から徒歩7分の立地で便利

川崎リバーホテルはJR川崎駅から徒歩7分で行ける高立地。

駅の周辺には飲食店やコンビニ、映画館まで様々な娯楽施設が集まっています。ホテルは大通りを1本逸れた場所にあり、近くのかに道楽を目印にすると分かりやすかったです。
この通りは夜のお店が多く集まるため、女性や家族連れにはおすすめしづらいです。

フォロワーさんたちと上野で飲んでから、23時頃にチェックインしてみると「チェックインする場所が違います」とのこと。よく見たら予約したホテルは本館ではなく南館と書かれていました。

気を取り直して南館のフロントでチェックイン。南館の目の前には「天然温泉 政之湯」という銭湯がありました。

入館にあたり宿泊者の記入と身分証のコピーを取られました。館内説明は簡単に行われ、鍵を受け取って早速部屋まで移動します。

セミダブルベットに合わせて部屋やお風呂が広い

セミダブルベットのため男性2人だと狭いかなと思っていましたが、予想していたよりも何とか寝返りが打てるレベル。布団も汚れや髪の毛が落ちていることもなく、清掃が行き届いているようでした。

ベットにあるアラームが故障していたり、照明がランプ2つのみのため部屋が暗くなってしまうのは残念でした。シャワー浴びて寝るだけだったので、そこまでサービスは求めていませんが気になる人も多いはず。

ベットサイドから入り口を見ると部屋の全体像が分かりやすいかも？
左側にはトイレやお風呂、右側にはクローゼットがあります。

セミダブルベットの部屋は喫煙ルームしか無かったのですが、クローゼット内にはファブリーズが設置されているのでニオイが気になる方もどうにかなりそう。部屋に入って速攻振りまきました。

作業机の他に丸型のテーブルと椅子がありました。お茶やポット、ドライヤー、テレビなど一般的なビジネスホテルにありそうなものは一通り揃っています。

川崎駅周辺の観光情報が載ったパンフレットなども置いてあったので、私のように初めて訪問する人には有り難い。（すぐに横浜に向かったのですが）

冷蔵庫はよくある小型タイプではなく、冷凍室もあるもので大きめの物も入りそうな感じ。お酒とおつまみを買ってきて宅飲みするにも良さそう。

トイレと洗面台が一体型のユニットバス

入口横にあるトイレやお風呂は、ビジネスホテルによくあるシャワーカーテンで区切られているタイプ。トイレにはウォシュレットが付いています。

バスタブも広めで足を伸ばして入れますが、お風呂の天井が低く同行者は頭をぶつけそうになることがあったそうな。私は特に問題なかったです。

朝食サービスはおまけと割り切ればアリ

翌朝の朝食サービスは1階の食堂で食べられます。朝食時間は朝7時～10時までですが、そこまで広い食堂ではないので席が埋まっていることもあるんだとか。

ホテルの朝食バイキングのような豪華さは無いものの、宿泊費に対するおまけとして考えたら十分すぎるレベルです。欲を言えばもう少しラインナップが増えると良いのですが…。

ソーセージやシュウマイは無くなる前にすぐ補充されていました。口コミでは年中同じおかずらしく、連泊だと結構辛くなりそう。

おにぎりは具がなかった…。横にあるサラダは青じそドレッシングのみだった。

パンはマーガリンとジャムが選べて、上にあるトースターでトーストにて食べられます。

お味噌汁はわかめ、豆腐、ネギなどを自分で好きな量を入れられます。予想以上にしっかりとしたもので驚きました。

飲み物はコーヒーとお茶（パック）、オレンジジュースから選べます。オレンジジュースが気に入ってついつい追加でおかわりしてしまった。

東京、横浜どちらへ行くにもアクセスが良いホテル

川崎駅から徒歩圏内にあるため、東京⇔横浜間の移動日に利用するにはちょうどいいホテルでした。ホテルの華やかさやサービスは期待できませんが、シャワーを浴びて寝るだけの用途ならコスパが良かったです。

土曜日でも2人で6,600円で宿泊できたので周辺のホテルよりも2～3割ほど安く泊まれました。朝食メニューも朝早くから行動する予定だったので助かりました。
